Last week, Ali and the Norwest Podiatry team spent some time with the incredible crew at The Body Clinic in Kumeu. The Body Clinic Kumeu are a passionate group of Osteopaths and Massage therapists who share our mission of keeping our community moving well and living pain-free.
We were welcomed by Lana and her team, and together we explored how podiatry and manual therapy can work side by side to support better outcomes for our shared patients.
Many people still think Podiatrists only cut toenails, but that’s just one tiny part of what we do!
At Norwest Podiatry, our scope includes:
Our goal is simple, ‘to keep people mobile, confident, and independent at every stage of life’.

Feet Affect the Whole Body. That’s Where Collaboration Becomes Powerful
When it comes to helping people move better, we all play a different role in the chain.
Osteopaths and Massage therapists do incredible work addressing tension, restriction and compensations through the body. Podiatry complements that by assessing how foot mechanics may be contributing in the first place.
When structural support from below meets skilled hands-on therapy above, patients get longer-lasting, more complete results.
Our Commitment to Community Foot Health
At Norwest Podiatry, clinical care is only one part of our mission. We’re proud to be active in the Kumeu, Huapai and wider Norwest community through:
Because healthy feet build healthy communities, and prevention always starts with awareness.
A heartfelt thank you to Lana and the amazing team at The Body Clinic for having us. Your passion for whole-body care shines through in everything you do, and we’re excited to continue supporting one another in delivering complete care to our patients.
If you’re an osteopath, massage therapist, physio or movement specialist in West Auckland who’d like an in-service, shared case discussion or collaborative care pathway, we’d love to connect.
Let’s keep Kumeu moving together.
